It uses the first partition as extra storage space for system files and the second partition stores your games. On the ALU go to FlashDriveX in the settings menu and format the USB stick (It'll only format that first partition.) Once AddonX is done running, plug the USB into your ALU. You can add more content and even combine downloads, but it'll be a very long list to scroll through on the ALU, so do that at your own risk.
